A win for the underdog? In a town where excess is abundant, Highlands Pizza Place is a welcome reprieve. The extensive menu covers more than just pizza pies but includes grinders and the half expected calzone. Even a bit for the kids in tow. I have put off my review because I wanted multiple experiences with this establishment and they did not disappoint me or my family. Staff had knowledge of the menu and made excellent recommendations on every visit. We always found the place clean and tidy even with a busy lunch crowd. The food is wonderful. Probably the worst tasting pizza I've ever had well I shouldn't say ever had, Pizza Hut is pretty gross the people that work here are nice the place is clean but the pizza doesn't taste like homemade pizza it tastes like Ragu Sauce out of a jar. No love
Lovely margherita pizza and absolutely amazing Highlander sandwich. 10/10 would drive 100+ miles again, just for the food. Or at least I'd stop here on a roadtrip passing by. Great service as well, and a lively atmosphere for the time of day.

What a fabulous stop! I would have liked more air conditioning- but we were up near the kitchen, to be fair. We ordered the daily special and enjoyed every bite of it. It is a really fun atmosphere- and nice and clean too.
Average pizza in an average place with an average staff. There's nothing that stands out about this experience. Mediocre at best. Parking: Street parking.
