My new favorite BBQ spot. When I came in the guy behind the counter learned it was my first time visiting so he told me to have a seat and he would be right back lol. Then he brought out some samples to help me decide what I wanted to eat. He was very personable with everyone that walked in, even the homeless guy that came in. I ended up getting the shrimp, ribs and Mac cheese. The food was very good enough food to eat off of twice! I went later in the day They were out of buttermilk pie, so I’ll definitely be back to try that as well.

Okay, first... this place is amazing. The owner is amazing that I can honestly say that I did not go to a place where they take samples from everything on the menu. You feel very friendly at home. The food was sooooooooo good. Everything we were brought out was delicious!!! I got the fried shrimps with Mac cheese baked beans... I don't even eat beans. This place is so good!! I definitely recommend for anyone looking for amazing BBQ. BTW... I almost fell the buttermilk cake out of my chair!!!! I never had anything like obsessed now.
I went late and most everything was gone. But they had everything I wanted. Teaches me not to wait until the last minute to decide what I want to eat. They asked if it was our first time there and yes, it was. They fixed us a sample plate. The foodwas absolutely delicious. No joke. There was a customer there who been doing business with Hookin Bull for 16 years. I nowam a true customer. This will be the only place I get bbq ribs, rib tops, pulled pork, pulled chicken, jumbo shrimp anddesserts. Hookin Bull for Life! Book a table now
I had a great experience during my first visit to this restaurant! The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and I even received a 10% discount since it was my first time there. I appreciated being able to sample a few items before deciding on my order. I ended up trying the rib sandwich with corn, and I found the ribs to be tender. The only downside was that I wasn't a fan of the mild sauce on the side as it tasted like ketchup, but overall I still enjoyed my meal.
Food and service is amazing every time I come. My husband and I drove and saw this place, so we came in and it was not disappointed! Customer service was great and they were so friendly. The food was even better. We have the rib tips and shrimps combo and fortunately we have there before they were all gone. We have gone back a few times and every visit was a pleasant experience.
I went to a restaurant called NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE. The owner was very nice, welcoming, and even allowed me to try the food before buying it. Let me just say, the food was INCREDIBLE. I couldn't stop thinking about it on Thursday after trying it on Wednesday, so I decided to come back on Saturday for dinner. This has to be the best food I've had in a while.
The food at this restaurant was delicious, especially the tender rib tips with lots of flavor. The staff was friendly and even allowed us to do a small taste test. We will definitely have to try the Brunswick stew next time. The baked beans were also amazing, overall the food was excellent. We will definitely be returning soon. Book a table now
I came to the restaurant NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE... The owner was pleasant, friendly and let me taste the food before buying. When I told you the food was AMAZING. I brought food on Wednesday, thought about eating all day Thursday and came to dinner Saturday... that's by far the best food I had in a long time.
