We drove almost three hours to try House of jollof after seeing it come across my TikTok. I know that sounds extreme but I love trying new foods and a day date to St.Louis with my husband is something I’m always up for. They did not disappoint. I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a great experience. The portion sizes are generous, and I really enjoyed the chicken wings, especially with the sauce served on the side. The jollof wrap with chicken was tasty, and the salad was very fresh. The staff were polite and friendly, and I appreciated that everything is made fresh to order. The restaurant was clean, and I loved the music playing in the background. I definitely plan to return and try something different to explore more of the menu!
I had never tried authentic African cuisine and wanted to try it. Had heard good things about Egusi and Fufu, so i ordered that. The food was SO comforting and delicious! I am making the special trip today because I've been craving it since my last trip. Can't wait to try other items on the menu as well.
We had a great experience at this restaurant during our first visit. The food was delicious! The fufu complemented the goat soup perfectly, which I ordered spicy. I enjoy bold flavors and could have handled even more heat.

I absolutely loved the jollof rice with chicken! It was flavorful and fresh. I'm quite particular about chicken, but I was really impressed. The ginger beer had a delightful spicy and sweet combination—such a fun drink!
I order from here all the time, my friend is from West Africa and he loves the food. TJ the owner is exceptionally nice, good customer service. Will always order from House of Jollof good African dishes.
The food is nice with several vegetarian and vegan options. But a side of rice costs $5, and they don't have a proper dine in. We are in disposal silverware. Slightly expensive.
My favorite restaurant in north county, I get the egusi with catfish and a ginger beer. But they have such a good menu all together. I love this place. Good vibes
