The food and service at this restaurant were good, but I had a frustrating experience when I tried to pay using a phone app bank card. I was informed that the restaurant only accepted cash, despite not seeing any signage about this policy until after I had finished my meal. It would be helpful for the restaurant to clearly display this information on their menus or windows to avoid confusion for customers. Fortunately, I had cash on hand, but it could have been a problem if I didn't. It seems unnecessary for a modern restaurant to not accept card payments, and I can't think of a valid reason for this inconvenience.
Have just moved to the area, and were looking for a cafe that was open late afternoon. Very pleased to find a very varied menu at great prices. The food was lovely and the service was prompt and very friendly. This may well be my new favourite cafe, and we had the bonus of being able to sit outside to eat, watching various classic cars pass and generally watching the world go by.
So i was invited to join in with some regulars for Sunday lunch time, I looked forward to it all week and was not disappointed. I had the roast lamb, Succulent and tasty. It was a big plate and I ate it all. Staff and service were lovely and didn't feel rushed . Looked like they had a lot of regulars which is a good sign, I will be going again. xx
This was a call in visit, a good range on the menu and board. We chose breakfast, was a little bit late on being delivered as finished drinks first before food arrived. Food was good, no real complaints presentation was average a good traditional greasy spoon cafe Beware though they do not take card cash only which is not very well displayed

We have been on holiday in Hadleigh and called here for lunch one day. Hubby had an all day breakfast and I had a chicken wrap. The portions were generous, reasonably priced and the service was great. We would definitely return to this cafe.
Had lunch with friends at this restaurant. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The service was just right for our outing, allowing us to catch up without feeling rushed. A perfect day out with friends.
We popped in last minute and was really surprised with your fantastic menu, loads of choice and very reasonable price. Food was lovely, i had the BLT. Staff friendly, place clean. Will be back thank you
I would have lunch here every day if we lived nearer. Jacket potatoes cooked to perfection. My husband always has their omelettes, and hasn't tasted better. Plus amazing value. Couldn't ask for more.

waited an atrocious amount of time for a baguette and was utterly disappointed with the food itself, has a disabled ramp yet it’s so steep you would struggle with getting a wheelchair up and down
I had a great time catching up with my friends and meeting their mothers' friends at the restaurant. The waitress was extremely attentive and made us feel very welcome.
