Came here for a special birthday meal. Waited hrs for a pasta dish and a lasagna. Got wrong dish after waiting so long! Asked For bottle of wine got a glass, asked for a second glass of wine waited mins for the wrong...wine. Starter arrived, where ok basic. waitress’s on who where clearly not trained or happy! But not there fault! One asked if we would like the bill we hadn’t even had any food yet! We left after hrs and went somewhere else! Paid for what we had drank/ate! Music very loud and pop music we asked if they could turn it down! Overall not a great experience at all, won’t be returning.
I have visited Il Padrino many times with my family and also with friends. The food is excellent quality and exceptional value- highly recommended! Service is friendly. Waiting on staff are attentive and nothing is too much trouble. I am waiting for it to re-open...after lockdown as I know it will be safe and food just as delicious. If you are in Ormskirk, pay them a visit as you won't be disappointed.
So, Came here after a long break due to Covid for steak night absolutely fabulous steak cooked to perfection staff were lovely and the food was fantastic!!! X We had fillet , porterhouse I normally go to a steak restaurant in aughton but must admit...the steak here was much better Thanks guys we will be back next week!! X
Spur of the moment visit for Sunday lunch. What a find! Had courses plus wine for The seabass was magnificent supplement) Staff friendly and efficient especially Brad. Vikas (the manager) was very helpful and had a very calming presence. Enjoyed sticky toffee...pudding for dessert yum! Will definitely come back

accepted all three of us as walk ins. service was fast and very polite as were all the waitresses and the manager/owner. food was tasty and the atmosphere was much better than the previous restaurant we’d been to previously, should’ve gone here first!! would go...again, hopefully soon
Found this place by chance, now we’re hooked, we have now been three tines in the past two weeks. Service great two lovely girls, very polite and eager to help, extensive menu reasonably priced, loved the pizza and sea bass. Loved it all. Going back...for more soon
of us chose different dishes, Chicken, Rissoto, spaghetti and the Special Burger ,all of which were devoured And thoroughly enjoyed with good service and a smile, not been for a long time but well pleased and will for sure Return, good offers during the...week.
Only eaten here once and it was poor. our starter took an age to arrive and the main meal was not very tasty. the lager tasted as if the lines had not been cleaned for a bit. maybe will give it another go in the...future but that once experience put us off.

Just been for the first time to lo padrinos in Ormskirk, we will definately be returning, good value for money, lovely atmosphere, good service.. Pleasant staff... I Had the most succulent steak cooked to perfection... Topped off with a limoncello... Mmmm
