This is our first time here and was close enough to Tanger Deer Park outlet. Reviews overall are positive on Yelp. Stepping in, there are a couple of tables and the decor are somewhat pretty bare. Now onto the food. We ordered a Baingan Bhuta which is eggplant chopped along with other vegetable mixed in. Dish was pretty good and has only wished it wasn't chopped too fine. We also ordered Goan fish curry which which had good flavoring. Both these dishes are temperature wise hot which was nice and cooked to our spice level perfection. I must also mention the service. I ordered online and was told it would take 20 minutes. However, when I arrived right on time, I ended up waiting another 20 minutes for my food to be brought out, making it a total of 40 minutes for a meal that left much to be desired. Additionally, the prices were not low, which made the experience even more disappointing. It felt like a subpar fast-food Indian experience—except it wasn’t fast, and unfortunately, it wasn’t good either. I think I’ll stick to my local favorite, which has consistently outperformed this restaurant time and again.

Great Indian food with a good lunch special. The place is nice and clean and at the end of our meal the owner came out and talked with everyone. Also, the table behind me had a very nice mother and son who have visited this place numerous times. That's a good sign for any restaurant.
Long wait for service and for our food. The atmosphere was quiet and clean with subtle Indian music playing. Our server was very friendly and professional. I would have preferred having everything served at once and it took much too long to get our drinks. I would definitely go back

The butter chicken was excellent in Long Island, and the chana masala with bhatura was delicious. Overall, I rated the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars.
