Well we decided to have Indian food on the way back home from Austria and we found this restaurant. We ordered for a couple of Indian curries and daal tadka. It really took me to surprise when I saw the daal tadka prepared with black lentils and it was so spicy that we just couldn't enjoy the daal and the rest of the food was also not that commendable. The worst part was when my mother didn't want the ice cubes in her cola the steward took the spoon from my hand, removed the ice cubes and put it in the wine chiller next to our table. On a whole the dining experience was not what we were expecting and the service was not that great. The food was way too expensive compared to what we received....
great food and service. they have great vegetarian options that I loved. there are many meat dishes in the offer as well as dips etc. the brot was also really nice. the portion sizes are not large so that they can choose a series of straightened. to share and taste a good number of dresses on the menu and no huge amounts of food left.
We had dinner here with a group of 6 on a Saturday. I would recommend reserving a table as the place is quite busy. The food is really tasty and amongst the better Indian food if had at various places around the world. The staff are very friendly. Will definitely go here again!
I'm here many times now and every time I go home happy. kudos to the indien rest team! the staff is very friendly and of course the eating delicious! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have high quality Indian food in water with an Indian vibe.

Good food, polite waiters, easy to find, reasonably priced. Worth coming to Giessen if you are in neighbouting towns. Highly recommended.
