I did a bit of research on TA and it pointed me to this cafe. Nice spot in the main drag area of town. Parking available even at lunch time. Appeared to be a lot of local folks eating there. I grabbed a spot at the counter and ordered up the #39 deep fried hamburger and a lemonade. Lemonade was free refills! We are off to a good start. Just passing through town overnight and tried here. GREAT decision ... had two senior dinners, at great , which were plenty big portioned! His hamburger with onions and my roast beef dinners were hot, tasty, included fresh green beans, the BEST sweet potato fries, crisp salads, the drinks and dessert! Yummy pies! We'd be regulars, if we lived around here! Tricky parking lot is tight.
I looked at the reviews while searching for a good hamburger, and they mentioned this place had an excellent one. I'm glad to say they lived up to the hype! I ordered the coleslaw as my side, and everything was delicious. The servers were quite busy, but they maintained an efficient pace and provided great service. I felt well taken care of. Thank you!
Delicious home-cooking. Friendly service. Very affordable. I enjoyed a ham and cheese omelet, hashed browns, and pancakes. My wife had a grilled cheese sandwich and coleslaw. Total bill: $21. That is what I paid recently for one martini in Aspen! When visiting Sterling we always eat dinner here.

This rating is not based off of our visit yesterday, as it was not the standard we are used to. The food was sub par and our waitress did not care when it came out that way. She shrugged and left. However, this is our favorite place in town! Home cooked food with wonderful service.
This small-town diner has limited parking. The service and food were decent, but nothing to write home about. The establishment could definitely benefit from some renovations and a thorough cleaning, as there were quite a few flies buzzing around.

Excellent Breakfast stop on our way to Nebraska. Very clean and seems to be a popular Locals hangout.
