Nice hang out place. Right off the metra stop in beautiful Tinley Park. It has the exact feeling of a western saloon (thus the name) with scenic views. Cool getaway from the city. The food was ok. We had the pizza. Not much love in it. From the taste, it's a quick eat that can be constructed and pumped from the kitchen with ease. Just ok. The crowd is mixed. 20 somethings stopping thru for a quick drink before moving on, sports fans, and the older crowds having a party. Celebrating anniversaries or birthdays in the party space. DJ on Fridays and sometimes sunday. Jukebox was reasonable but had a terrible selection of songs. Country and Rock are great genres but that's all that was really off...
The crowd here is quite diverse, with people in their 20s stopping by for a quick drink, sports fans enjoying the atmosphere, and older patrons celebrating anniversaries or birthdays in the party space. They have a DJ on Fridays and occasionally on Sundays, which adds to the vibe. The jukebox had a reasonable selection, although it was disappointing in terms of variety; it primarily featured country and rock music. Overall, it seems to cater to the regular crowd. Our group eventually got a little tired of the atmosphere and decided to leave. I would consider coming back to try other menu items and enjoy the DJ, but it wouldn't be my first choice for a destination.
The service here is excellent, even during peak times. The food is fantastic, and the staff is composed of wonderful people! UPDATE: Since my last review, the steak appetizer has been changed, and unfortunately, it has completely altered what used to be my favorite dish. I've heard similar feedback from other customers as well. I would appreciate a response regarding this change, if possible.
Unusually strange. I've been sitting here 10 minutes and no one has offered me service. I've been coming here for a year now and have never experienced this. People have walked in after me and has been provided service. I would leave but there are peoplemeeting me here and coming from a long distance. I am so saddened. I guess once they get here we can decide on another place inthe area. Book a table now
This place is like the Denny's of saloons in the area. No one ever says, "Let's go to Hollsteins," but somehow you just end up here. It's decent, but the interior really needs a significant update. While the staff is friendly, the food could definitely be improved. Then again, it is a bit reminiscent of Denny's...
We stopped by after a concert and found the outdoor seating area to be very pleasant, even though the kitchen was closed. If there's a band performing, be aware that there might be a cover charge at the entrance. It's a fun spot to grab a few drinks!
The best wings in Tinley Park! I order them naked, without any breading. The bartenders are really friendly and always remember my drink order. The inside is consistently clean and lively. I give it 5 stars!
I have been coming here for more years then I care to remember please go see Lindsey, she is the absolute best bartender and person and I hope white dirty t-shirt appreciates her as much as I do. Book a table now
I visited this restaurant on New Year's Eve with a group of six. The atmosphere was vibrant and bustling. The pizza and wings were excellent. It was a really cozy spot.
