We have been to Jameson's in Countryside at least six times before and always had a great experience. On 12/31 we had a table of 6, The food was excellent. The chef is a genius, we were unfortunately disappointed about the service from Freddy our server. We were at our table for at least 30 minutes before Freddy came to take our drink order,he didn't introduce himself, I had to ask for his name. We asked him for more bread twice and never got any until we asked someone else. We were there for about two and a half hours and he never asked if we would like another drink which several of us would have liked to have. I normally am a generous tipper but I didn't feel good about paying the 20% tha...
The steak was cooked perfectly and served at just the right time. The service was fast and friendly. Dining here is on the expensive side, especially for a steakhouse not named Gibson, and there was a bit of sticker shock considering we're still adjusting to indoor dining prices since 2020. However, I understand that everyone is facing these challenges. We appreciate the hard work of the employees at Jameson’s, and we’ll definitely be back!
The waitress seemed as though we were interrupting her evening -wasn’t personable. She was slow getting to the table and just not into the service (also noticeable by observing her other tables. . However she had everything correct. Wish we had known there was going to be live music -we would have made our reservations a little later to enjoy while dining.
strange setup. the restaurant uses a former hotel banquet hall and hotel bar so that the sitting area is strange and unpleasant. eating is hit or miss. suppe and salat super, steaks and pastas are not. not the place for a romantic dinner, but would be suitable for business meetings. great drinks and desserts, but the worst place from this chain.

"Our reservation was on time, but we were seated 20 minutes later and only provided with water. The restaurant had a very understated atmosphere. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed, as it took 15 minutes for someone to check on us, and after that, no one returned to our table. We decided to leave the restaurant and won’t be coming back."
We were very happy that Jameson's Charhouse was open on January 2. The wait staff was very efficient and we loved the happy hour special for appetizers. We enjoyed our dinner too. The chicken pot pie is huge so I have enough for a second meal. Thanks.
Steaks were very good and Parmesan potato wedges yummy. Only issue is where the check in stand is from the door. It’s passed the restaurant part and by the bar and no signage when walking in as where to go.
I had an excellent experience at Jameson. The staff went above and beyond, especially Karen and John. The music by Ross Failla was fantastic! I had an extremely enjoyable and funny time!

Horrible experience Waitress never returned, order was taken wrong, my wife and I dine out at least 3 times a week and this is the worst experience we have ever encountered.
The server completely ignored us. The hostess had to take over and serve us. I didn't see anyone else being served by the hostess. No explanation given.
