This was one of the few places that we found open for lunch on a wet, cold windy Monday in Bagneres-de-Bigorre, but it was very busy which we thought was a good sign. So it turned out to be. Although the staff did not speak English, we managed to indicate that we were interested in the Formule/Plat du Jour menu were soon mixing it with the locals. Quite noisy many tables squeezed into the area in close proximity, but it all seemed to add to the authenticity. Spouse had an entree main, whilst I opted for a main course only. We also shared a lovely bottle of Rose. Spouses entree was a salad with lardons topped with a poached egg. He indicated that it was one of the tastiest salads he has eaten...
