It’s probably closer to a 4.5, but I was impressed compared to some of the other sushi places in Maryland. They seemed short staffed for a lunch rush, but the waitress was nice. The prices were decent for special rolls, but what caught my attention was the size of the miso soup and the fact that the fish didn’t have an old fishy taste like it’s been sitting there forever. Definitely worth checking out. I liked the tuna love and yellowtail jalapeño rolls. Service: Dine in
Sushi was wonderful! Both the cooked and raw rolls were tasty. On the flip, side the hibachi portions were small. I had 5 pieces of shrimp total and a small amount of steak on the plate. However the flavor was pretty good. The dining section is very small with 3 tables so it felt really cramped. The staff were very nice though. I would definitely order sushi for takeout again, but I wouldn?t dine in or get the hibachi as the price didn?t match the portions.
I dined in with my daughter tonight and the experience was great. The dining area is really small but most people ordered carryout so we were the only ones. The staff were very friendly and even gave my daughter a snack on the way out. The food was seasoned perfectly. Who seasons rice like this!?! It was sooooo good. This was my first time going to JiBang. I?ve always driven past but never stopped in. Tonight changed everything. They are my new sushi spot.
I ordered takeout a couples of months ago and forgot to submit a review. The food was actually good but my daughter found a piece of plastic in her food. I called and told the woman who answered the phone. Her response was we had to bring back the food. I told her we already ate it and I didn't want a refund. I just wanted them to be more careful. My daughter was basically finishing her food before she bit into the plastic. Book a table now
The sushi here is delicious, but be careful— the server tends to rush through the details and will try to charge extra for sauces. Given how much I've spent there over time, I think the sauces should be included. I didn’t like her quick-talking style when it came to discussing extra charges. Overall, I would rate the food quality a 4, while the service and atmosphere both deserve a 3.
Update: I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning from this restaurant. I ate there yesterday and am feeling very unwell today. I also found a hair in my food. The fried rice was awful, loaded with so much black pepper that I couldn't eat it. The orange chicken was overcooked too. I definitely won't be coming back.
The hibachi noodles are truly amazing! The steak was grilled to perfection, and the shrimp was just the right way. It’s far superior to the other chain hibachi restaurant we used to visit. This will definitely be our favorite place from now on!
Got the hibatchi, fried Oreos and my gf got the crab rangoons and chicken hibatchi EVERYTHING was amazing!! Will be coming back. Food was made fresh and hot everything was delicious and the people very friendly Book a table now
