I ordered from Jive Turkey Eats at Pride 2023 and was really disappointed. I received only 4 small chicken wings and a roll for $9.99, even though their online menu stated 8-piece wings for that price. This price difference is unacceptable. On top of that, the beef tacos I got had cold meat. Overall, I was very unhappy with both the food and the service. If I see this food truck again, I’ll definitely avoid it. I tried to support them once, but I won’t be doing that again. It’s also worrying to learn there’s another company in St. Louis using the same name, logo, and menu items. Their public response confirming this only reinforces my decision not to support them.
I want to support Black-owned businesses, but this place really needs to improve. My mom only eats turkey and fish, no chicken or beef, so I recommended this restaurant to her. She wanted to try the food before considering catering, but there were no turkey bites, no turkey Philly, and no turkey chops available. I tried the chicken wings, and we ordered a grilled turkey salad. The wings were okay, but the salad didn’t have any grilled turkey—just a plain salad with four simple ingredients—and we paid $11.99 for it. They couldn’t even get that right.
I paid $21 for a turkey leg at this restaurant, and I was disappointed with the lack of seasoning. The mac and cheese was also terrible, which is usually my favorite dish. I'm sorry to say that it was the worst mac and cheese I have ever had, no exaggeration. They did replace it for me, but I still only give this place one star. I also spent $21 for a turkey leg and two sides. Overall, I would not recommend this place. Look elsewhere for a better dining experience.

I absolutely LOVE coming here! There are not many food establishments that taste like a good soul food home cooked meal but Jive Turkey does it for me every time. My 6 year old son hates the sight of anything green but he eats their green beans with no issues and loves them! My suggestion will be the turkey ribs. You won't be dissappointed.
The food is fire…… when they have some. 8/10 they missing a key component to the meal every time. Last time i tried to get food from there they took my order, I came to pick it up and the door was locked. And they looked at me standing outside like I’m crazy. Food fire tho. They just need some more structure. Has so much potential.
Stumbled across this establishment this past weekend and we were not disappointed! We had the Turkey Ribs with sweet potatoes and a Turkey Philly with Mac&Cheese. Great flavorful portions for very decent prices. Cashier up front was very friendly andhelpful in explaining menu options for these 1st time visitors.
I've ordered 3 of the Mac and Cheese sides because it was good the first time they opened . This time was a pure disappointment. The Mac and cheese was dry , salty , sweet and sagey (Like Thanksgiving dressing or something . Verydisgusting. I wish they kept their original recipe.

We traveled from Detroit specifically for the turkey bites and turkey chops, but they were out of stock at 1 p.m. and didn’t expect to have any until the following day. I even sent my relatives the next day, but they still found no turkey available. Very disappointing.
cabbage is very big and white. Not the kind of cabbage I eat. Nothing is seasoned. Turkey leg was a waste of $17 and whatever cents. My turkey legs you can taste flavor in every bite. Also the turkey leg looked old and tasted old.
