Disappointing experience second time as well. We reserved to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The food and service has become mediocre sadly. All server staff needs lots of training. We requested to clean our table as something was spilled after the appetizer round and the lady ignored nodded and walked away. Then again asked the server and he decided to clean. The server were new not experienced to serve at a fine dinning restaurant more better suited if they work around at a taco joint.I ordered a whole branzino fish which was served head taken off, medium to small whole fish by itself on top of two soggy egg plant slices full of seeds. They don’t go well soggy eggplant with fish. No other...

If I could give zero stars I would. After reading many good reviews, decided to go to celebrate my birthday. We had to order drinks 3 times because the spirits for the ones we asked for (though published on your website) were not available. Had the Sicilian crostini appetizer which was tasty and came in a reasonable amount of time. Then, even after inquiring, it took almost an hour and a half before our 2 pasta entrees came. The pasta was tepid and tough and the octopus tentacle served in mine was as hard as tire rubber. Seemed to us that in all likely hood they had been under a heat lamp for a long time. The only reason I gave service 2 stars was because our waiter Chris did a good job. The...

I've dined at all the restaurants inside JHBK, and I can confidently say that while the food is decent, it falls short of being exceptional and does not justify the prices. When compared to 1776, the food simply doesn't measure up. The atmosphere, however, is consistently impressive, providing a wonderful setting in all the dining areas of the facility. The cocktails used to be unparalleled, standing out among the rest in town. Unfortunately, since the original bartenders had a falling out with the owner and left, the cocktails have become lackluster and uninspired. I should also mention that during COVID, they had the nerve to be the only restaurant in town requiring proof of vaccination to...

We visited Jockey Hollow's patio on a lovely evening and were excited to sit outside. The waitress first asked us about our water preferences; we ordered tap water with lemon, but received it with limes instead. I ordered a Stella but ended up with an IPA, while my wife requested a Pinot Grigio and got a sweet Soave. When we asked the waitress if she was new, we never received a response. Frustrated, we decided to leave. As we departed, the maitre d' inquired if everything was alright, and I responded with a "No." Her reply was simply "wonderful." We then headed to South and Pine, where we experienced great service and outstanding food. Book a table now

Jockey Hollow Bar Kitchen is a must try. The interior and exterior architecture is beautiful. We sat at the Vail Bar for Happy Hour for 1/2 price glasses of wine and draft beer. The wine selection is excellent and the beer choices adequate. The $2 oysters were super fresh. The hummus with Calabrian peppers and double smash burger w/fries were delicious. The service was impeccable thanks to our bartenders Taylor and Gabriel. Parking: There are very limited spots in an adjacent parking lot and garage. There is also metered parking on the street. The Dehart parking garage and the Wilmot lot are both a short walk.

This place nailed it with fresh oysters, irresistible biscuits, and expertly crafted cocktails. The oysters were pristine, the biscuits were warm and buttery, and the cocktails were spot-on. Big shoutout to Ryan for making the experience even better with fantastic service. If you’re looking for a meal that hits all the right notes, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
