We just moved to the area and we were really excited to see a local Italian stain 5 minutes from our house, and everyone we talked to suggested that we try. So we ordered take-out to give it a shot, and I will say the portion sizes are big! I ordered the shrimps Sampi, the shrimps, Italian sausage and paprika in a cream sauce (Alfredo), and my friend ordered spaghetti and meatballs. I asked for the Italian sausage to be on the side, and they did not take it at all, and there were no paprika to find. To supplement injuries, I counted four shrimps in my heap of noodles, which were invaded in Alfredo sauce. The spaghetti and meatballs had two meatballs with a shovel marina about 3 pounds of noo...
Update: 7/12/22 Apparently they are under new management according to our server today I knocked a couple stars off due to the fact that this is our third time here and the food was really off. Now I?m unsure if it was an off day or a new cook the sauce wasn?t the same at all but the service was still decent. I was informed we had to pay using the server now instead of paying at the counter up front now also. Joe's Italian never disappointed, our food was amazing! We had several appetizers and then had the aubergines Parmesan, lasagna, cake and wine and it was all super delicious!!!! As good as the meal was, the best part of the experience was our server, Bradley. He was funny, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! We will be back soon and we will definitely ask for Bradley!
Let me tell you about the portions size at this place….it takes the cake! No exaggeration when I say they make sure you leave well fed and happy. I enjoyed being serenaded by the gentleman with the accordion while stuffing my face full of pasta and cake. I recommend everything on the menu, nothing disappoint but make sure you bring your fat pants!

Unbelievable! Food is out of this world and you get a ton of food. We had Andy who served us, best service we?ve ever had ANYWHERE!!!! All employees were smiling and kind. You can tell they love their job. I highly recommend. This is definitely going on our weekly list of favorites to eat. Keep up the great work. We will become regulars!
Food as usual was great. Portions larger than we could finish. Our server, Andy was courteous, energetic, and helped us get out in less than an hour since we were on a tight schedule. We'd much rather sit and enjoy the laid back atmosphere and listen to the fabulous accordion player! We'll be back again...
One of the last great treats to look forward to in and around this area. The portions are almost more than you can eat and the prices are very competitive. The staff was knowledgeable and eager to make our experience one to remember. Eaten here many times and look forward to we we can return.
Nice place, very friendly staff, the food is fresh and comes out fast. I loved the veggie pizza, the fried ravioli and the salad! Will come back for lunch next time I am in Alabaster :

Pros: Big portions, very helpful service, seasoned on the heavy side (that is a good thing) Cons:The bread tasted well and warm, but just odd more like a pan of cake without the sugar.
I had the capellini and I added the shrimp to it, Wonderful! I also can't remember the last time I had such excellent service from a restaurant. Great job!
