Johnny's was our first stop before a show at the Overture Center. Our server was very personable and we chatted about visiting Johnny's about 20 years ago for the first time. We started with the blue crab salad and French onion soup, which were wonderful. They made the effort to split these for us. I got the ribeye steak, which was prepared just right. The steak at this restaurant was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive. The cocktails were high end and the prices reflected the luxury of the steakhouse. I recommend trying the hash browns, as many reviews suggest. I deducted one star because, while the steak was good, it wasn't the absolute melt-in-your-mouth experience I have had elsewhere or when making it at home, especially considering the price of $50+.
I took my college son there and we had an awesome meal. Had the mountain of calamari as an appetizer followed by a couple steaks. I had the aged bone in rib-eye. At home I have a pellet smoker and I hardly ever find a restaurant steak that cancompete with what comes out of my smoker. But this steak blew it away. Honestly one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Servicewas excellent too. Would definitely recommend.

Subtracted one star because at basically $50+ for asteak, it wasn't absolutely melt in your mouth that I've had before (or made myself). Book a table now
While our server was lovely, I did not think my meal was worth the hefty price. The ribeye was small and nothing special flavor wise and the hash browns just okay. I was pleased at the chocolate torte that was included with my meal for it being mybirthday. High class ambiance, friendly staff, but food not worth the price.
Amazing evening had by all, totally fell in love with this place! Amazing staff and Chef's ?? So blessed to be able to personally thank the entire kitchen staff, wow. Than you Jonathan for making that happen, so honored...truly!!!
The food and service were both excellent. It was fun to flirt with the bartender. While it was a bit expensive, you are definitely paying for the top-notch service and great atmosphere.
I have debated about this review because, while it was a total good experience, I don't know that I would choose it to say tornado. we had reservations on a busy one. Book a table now
