It had been a while since I last had chicken from Jollibee, so on my way home from work on Saturday, I decided to exit the crowded 10 freeway Eastbound at Baldwin Park and head to the W. Covina shopping center. Parking in the afternoon was fairly easy, although I wished for a spot a bit farther away than usual. The large parking lot is shared with other restaurants, a grocery store, a clinic, and some small shops. The north side of the shopping center felt like a little Filipino community, featuring restaurants, a bakery, a grocery store, a parcel-shipping store, and more—a great touch catering to the Filipino community.

It's a fast food chain, but quality is as good as a fast food fried chicken can get. It's just as good as my other favorite fried chicken chain: Church's chicken! Juicy chicken thighs that was likely marinated and soaked in salt water overnight before it was fried to perfection. Crunchy on the outside and tender juicy on the inside. Also highly recommend their Mango Pineapple Quencher which was not excessively sweet at all! Very refreshing.
I fell in love with Jollibee a few years ago. It is basically the only fried chicken I eat from the fast food chain restaurants. Always get the spicy chicken with rice and their gravy is the cherry on top. I miss when they used to have the buy one bucket and get the other one free deal. Churches Chicken who? Ha ha ha ha.
If your childhood included SpaghettiOs and frozen gravy mix, this place will feel familiar! My girlfriend enjoyed the spicy chicken sandwich deluxe, and I ordered spaghetti with one piece of chicken. The staff were helpful with recommendations, but the food isn’t particularly impressive for the price.

The chicken is very delicious. It's a little over priced. They are very stingy with condiments. We also ordered the spaghetti. It was not good at all. Tasted like the sauce was bbq sauce.
I requested half original and half spicy chicken, but when I got home and opened the bucket, it was all spicy. My kids were very disappointed.
It used to be really good until they got rid of their spam and eggs on rice...
