Not the best food or the best service. But not a complete nightmare more like a bad dream. Ordered food and separately drinks on their app went to the bar to by a glass of milk for my 9 Yr old and was first asked rudely what size glass I said in the size glass you serve it in is fine with attitude she retorted that she doesn't know as they don't serve milk, milk is on the menu for 50p she poured the milk and charged me £1. After ten minutes and having already paid fir our meals a waiter came to inform us that our meals would be at least an hr as they were so busy we asked if starters would be out faster they said they could and we said that would be fine some how in less than 30 mins and eve...
updated improved assessment. popped in today for a make and discovered the new menu that I found quite well with many decisions. delicious food and great value, with daily specialties! Food was lovely, shame about the extremely rude staff! There wasnt a smile between them, and they treated my disabled brother appallingly when he got an order mixed up, if you dont have customer service skills, dont work in hospitality!
Unfortunately as usual not got drinks we wanted or food. Went to bring out our mains before we had finished starters and they weren't really busy. So some of our food over cooked as it had been under the warmer for too long.

Booked for 10 people no waiter service so had to queue at the bar to order everything. Food not very good. Chips dry and tasteless and steak tough. Loud music so difficult to talk. Must be better pubs in the area.
A really lovely family meal for my dad's 87th birthday......very good food at extremely reasonable prices ....staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us all ....thank you very much
sat on Thursday and the burgers bought one free. the food was nice and the staff was very friendly. very nice atmosphere when we came in. beautiful pub and I will return definitiw.
