The food here is fantastic, but the service leaves much to be desired. While the staff is responsive to your inquiries, the prices don't always match those listed on the menu. They apply additional fees for takeout orders on top of the food prices for each dish. There are also card processing fees for both debit and credit payments. Additionally, they don't provide itemized receipts and only give you a verbal quote for your total, so it's wise to ask about the price before placing your order. However, the food is definitely a highlight, particularly the grilled chicken with cheese and the Jalisco plate!
This restaurant offers fantastic Mexican American food in a family-friendly atmosphere. I've been getting takeout from here for 20 years, and the food has consistently remained excellent. The chips and salsa, along with the various types of chili con queso, are well-loved in the area. If you're in the vicinity, you can easily reach the restaurant by taking the I-10 exit and heading north on 2100 for about a mile. You won't be disappointed!
The beer mugs here are always served ice cold, which I absolutely love. The menu is extensive, and I've enjoyed every dish I've tried so far. I especially love the cheese enchiladas and usually order them as a side with whichever main dish I choose. The service is consistently good and very friendly.
I have loved this restaurant since the first I went there, but this visit was not so good. The salsa tasted moldy; I asked if the had fresh and they said no. The service was slow. I was very disappointed this time.
