To the owner: I've been a loyal customer and have always told people El Pollo Loco is not even close to Juan Pollo in taste and quality, I've catered big parties with your delicious food. I don't know what happened but the quality just dropped off a cliff and we had to throw away our rice, beans were bland, and the potato salad was no longer flavorful which I've felt has been a slow downfall for a while. I'm sad I have to write this review and there is no other Juan Pollo in our area that I can go to besides your location. I spoke to the server in Spanish, but she only replied in English, despite her being fluent in Spanish. This made me feel discriminated against. Since she insisted on responding in English, I switched to my perfect English, having been born in the US and graduated from an American university. However, when she took my order, she spoke to the kitchen staff in Spanish. I believe that if you’re Latino and work in a place called “JUAN POLLO,” you should serve customers in Spanish. Otherwise, it might be better to rename the restaurant “John Chicken.” That's just my opinion. The food was excellent, but the service left much to be desired.

This place serves the best chicken I've ever had! The service for takeout is outstanding, and you can't beat the prices—especially for dinner. I highly recommend trying the large pollo and chicken salad. You won't be disappointed!
