On our first night in France, we happened upon Le Petit Turin down the block from our hotel in the 8th, owned as we came to get to know them by Peter and Soraya Peschaud. If you want to sit shoulder to shoulder with 100 loud 20-somethings, this is not the cafe for you, but if you want what we considered the perfect and classic Paris cafe/bistro experience with faite maison (home style) food, sitting on the street or inside in a relaxed and super-friendly atmosphere on a quiet street, you need to discover this place. We chose this restaurant as we arrived at our hotel at 21:00 after starting our journey at 06:00 in the morning and it looked inviting and was only a 50 metres walk.The staff are friendly and helpful with the menu, my partner chose 2 entrees and I chose an entree and a main meal, both were very tasty, especially the pork tureen.Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and the good hosts.
We went to Nice, Barcelona, Rome, Venice and Paris for two weeks and ate out twice a day. This was the best meal of the whole trip and the couple who run the restaurant were very accommodating of our needs when we wanted to watch the world cup.........the food is AWESOME.....everything.....and we ate there twice..........Highly recommend Le Petit Turin
Terecht gekomen bij deze wijnbar omdat een ander restaurant dicht was.....maar, wat hebben we lekker gegeten. Eendelever mi-cuit zoals je 'm niet vaak krijgt, begeleid door heerlijke wijn. Er is veel wijn kennis aanwezig, ze maken mooie combinaties met de gerechten.Overige gerechten waren ook allemaal prima.

Nous avons trouvé le rapport qualité/prix trop faible, la cuisine était bonne mais sans plus avec une addition plutôt élevée. De plus, le vin commandé n'est pas celui servi et la bouteille annoncée de 2009 est en fait de 2012 et facturée sans réduction à la fin du repas. Nous ne reviendrons pas.
Tout est maison, accueil sympa même tardif (à midi) bonne cuisine très bon rapport qualité prix, nous avons apprécié, nous avons déjeuné deux fois et la qualité était les deux fois au rendez-vous. Nous reviendrons.A recommander sans modération !!
La formule du déjeuner avec un plat du jour 1 boisson et un Café est juste parfaite. C'est de la vraie cuisine,simple servie dans un décor plutôt chic ou en terrasse. Service impec sans ostentation.
Mon adresse fétiche dans le quartier. Des plats super, copieux, une carte des vins géniale, un très bon rapport qualité prix, un accueil chaleureux. Il faut y aller pour voir...
