There are over 100 ramen eateries and restaurants in the Bay Area, including Sonoma County, Marin County, San Francisco, East Bay, and South Bay. After researching, we decided to try Kanda Ramen, which has a 4.7 rating, on Saturday at 12:30 PM. From the extensive menu, we ordered shoyu ramen, a popular choice in the Kanto region (Yokohama and Tokyo) of Japan. To summarize our experience: the presentation of the toppings received 2 stars, the soup's taste only 1 star, as it was not hot enough, lacked clarity, and the noodles were too thick and overcooked. The only positive aspect was the service, which was friendly—possibly the owner was our waitress, earning 5 stars. Given that most ramen...

My child had a craving for ramen for a late lunch, so we searched for a nearby ramen restaurant. We found it tucked away in an older shopping complex. We arrived at 3:15 PM and were seated immediately. We ordered chicken karaage, black garlic ramen, and fish katsu rice. The chicken karaage was quite good, with crispy pieces that could have benefited from a bit more seasoning. The mayo dipping sauce was flavorful. The black garlic ramen had a decent flavor, though it could have been stronger; the broth was rich and the noodles had a nice firmness. The chashu was delicious, and the eggs were perfectly cooked. The fish katsu rice came with crunchy and tasty fish pieces, and the portion size was...

I've been searching for a ramen spot near Hayward/San Leandro, and I have to say, this is the best one I've found! I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and spam musubis. The ramen broth was delicious and spiced just the way I like it. The spam musubis were perfectly crispy. The place has a lovely atmosphere, and I’ll definitely return! Kid-friendliness: High chairs available. Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is wide, the floor is level, and there’s plenty of space between the tables and chairs.

This is one our regular ramen spots in the Bay Area. Really love the Black Garlic Ramen and my wife loves the Spicy Beef Ramen. Really good broth, yummy noodles, and you get a full egg. Place is super clean and it's in a shopping complex with lots to do. The only thing annoying is there's a bar across the hall that place loud music which can be annoying if you're dining outside and trying to have a conversation. Overall, A for the Ramen and highly recommended. Book a table now

I had higher expectations for this place based on the reviews I read. Unfortunately, the tonkotsu ramen was quite mediocre and disappointing. The broth lacked flavor, the noodles were average, and the ramen egg was overcooked. On a positive note, the waitress was friendly. However, I personally wouldn’t return, even if I had a craving for ramen, as the dish just didn’t taste authentic.

Now I eat a lot of Ramen, especially in San Francisco but when I found this little gem nestled inside this tiny mall it hit the spot in San Leandro, In fact, it hit the spot so well that I've never had a slab of beef put on to any Ramen soup. Just look at the pictures and enjoy. I really like this and it is one of my favorite Ramen spots from now on, try the soft shell crab appetizer!

I ordered the Black Garlic Onion Ramen. Decent sized portions of food for the price. Thin noodles, tasted flavourful. Had dim lighting, Ambient elevator type music was playing when I visited. Very outdated looking menus; it looked and felt like a small book with large pages. The photos on the menu and on the outside window did not make the food look appealing, needs updating.

The flavorful broth makes the ramen stand out and the ramens are hearty and pure comfort food. The black garlic oil ramen is my favorite. Their fried tofu and karaage chicken are absolutely delicious. The restaurant is located in the back of the shopping mall and is easily missed. Friendly customer service. Book a table now
