We were visiting our Son in Concord Hospital and decided to sneak him out for some proper food, we got this place from trip advisor and turned up. From the street it just looks ordinary with well worn menus ( suggest new ones) we decided to just order a heap of things to taste the menu. Well when it came we were speechless, it was absolutely fantastic, we started with two entrees to share, we chose Takati tuna, I could have made a meal of that on my own. Decided to get some takeaway sushi for dinner from here as it was close to concord hospital. We were impressed with the soup with Katsu chicken and the beef avacado and teriyaki chicken medium rolls were tasty and fresh the ginger was great aswell. I was disappointed with the chicken karage portion wise. The staff were friendly and service was quick.
Using trip advisor's reviews we tried this restaurant for our Valentine's Day dinner. We were impressed with the service, decor and most importantly the food. After eating here I can see why it is rated high on restaurants in Gungahlin
when it comes to Japanese food all what you want to know that their kitchen is clean and this place is one of them . had the usual sashimi and it was great .the hurricane roll was hot but delicious will be back for sure .

Local gem. Favourite place to head to during the week when I need a fresh light and delicious meal. They have a lovely variety, gourmet sushi and Japanese dishes, as well as the basic Japanese that everybody loves.
Top Japanese. Always good, great service, great food. We come here all the time. Never disappoints. I love the beef teriyaki meal. My sons love the chicken katsu sushi rolls with that great Japanese mayonnaise.

Super friendly staff. Wonderful fresh sashimi. Grilled salmon nigiri a standout. Very good tempura. We went for a birthday special occasion and were not disappointed.

As far as suburban Japanese eateries go Kokoro is always up there with the best...consistent, always fresh, beautifully presented... And never dissapoints
food is actually good however is always very hard to communicate with the staff. will be better if they had a good communicator at the front.
