The good:I had a red rooibos tea latte, chocolate chip brioche muffin and a custard cream and strawberry croissant from here for my birthday breakfast. The latte was great and wasn't watery nor too sweet. The custard cream was eggy and delicious. I liked that the tea was caffeine free because I'm nursing and trying to avoid caffeine. My toddler enjoyed the brioche muffin. They have so many delicious pastries to choose from. The croissant was flaky and the cream inside wasn't too thick or runny. If you are in a hurry and looking to stop at this nice-looking shop, don't bother because the service is lacking. I waited behind two guys for 10 minutes while the workers casually walked around as if the place was empty. I ended up leaving when it seemed like I wasn't important enough for their attention. It was a good thing though, as the wait gave me time to reconsider this place - it is actually quite expensive! I didn't feel comfortable paying $6 for just two small empanadas. I don't think I will be returning. There was also a strange hint of racism in the atmosphere, which was unexpected given the location.
In love with their homemade vanilla bean latte and the galbi baguette. I wish they had more prosciutto on their fig brie prosciutto sandwich tho. And the proscuitto itself was a bit dry too. But the galbi baguette is on the point. As a Korean, I'd rather call it bulgogi but what matters if it tastes just fine. I didn't know galbi (or bulgogi) would go so well with provolone. Their breads like the baguette and ciabatta are super chewy and tasty. The tables and chairs are all comfy and nice, and the vibe is work study appropriate. I would definitely come back to try other things too!

I am a big fan of pastries and am always on the lookout for a top-notch bakery. I am pleased to report that Krust went above and beyond my expectations. They offer a fantastic variety of pastries, especially in the morning, making it difficult to choose just one. However, you can't go wrong with any selection! My personal favorite is the delightful banana bread loaf, which is absolutely delicious. They also serve superb mini pies. I highly recommend trying their honey cinnamon latte for a drink. The staff is extremely friendly as well.
We stumbled upon this hidden gem while searching for coffee on Google. The owner was incredibly friendly and I was lucky enough to snag the last slice of Earl grey tea cake, which was delicious! This will definitely be our new go-to spot for coffee and pastries. Sorry 86c, but we have a new favorite now. The only downside is that they don't offer free wifi, which would make it a great spot for students to come hang out and do homework. Hint hint!
Argh!! It's Krusty krab eh patty or not pastry!! Don't be fooled it's not bad! Also I did want the breakfasts sandwich for $8? But decided to pass and get this $4 pastry filled w salami and ham w cheese I believe. Coffee is up there 3.50 for EH drip! Come down to the KRUSTY KRUSTIEST KRAB!
The croissant waffle at Krust is definitely worth the trip no matter where you are coming from! It's sweet, charming, peaceful, and the staff are welcoming. If you enjoy fresh baked goods, you will absolutely love this place. Make sure not to miss out on Krust!
