Last month we arrived in Paris on a very hot day loaded with 8 big suitcases and 3 young children. Our apartment was not ready for check in and we had to wait an hour and a half on the sidewalk with all our load in the hot sun. However because of one very kind and generous Gentleman our problem was solved. I asked if we could sit in his restaurant and wait, no problem. He helped unload our luggage, gave us a comfortable space to sit. Lunch was over but we ordered cold drinks and a croissant. When the children wanted more, he crossed the street to the other cafe and bought two more croissants. He noticed the children bored and offered their wi fi password without us asking. Amazing ! How luck...

We thought we'd give it a try and I am so glad that we did. FIrst of all, a big MERCI to the friendly server, who took pity on our poor French and guided us through the menu. Our choices--pate, grilled tuna, salad nicoise--were all tasty and freshly prepared. So good! It was crowded and busy for lunch--a good sign--but service was efficient and the food came out fast. Prices were super reasonable. I like La Clef des Champs!

We popped in for a drink, fairly unassuming from the outside with a separate dining area that was packed. Clearly this is a local establishment. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a couple of glasses of excellent, cold, dry white wine superb. The food looked fantastic and it is just the place you should eat when in a city if it is good enough for the locals, it is good enough for the tourists. A wonderful place.

We just came here for a short tea break during our Paris trip. To me it seemed to be a nice place and the department for lunch was rather crowded. Maybe one day I will try some dishes here, as the atmosphere was promising.

Small nice brewery where, what is rare, you see the cook and where the boss always has a nice word for the customers. Good value for money and impeccable service. To recommend without hesitation.
