I was really looking forward to visiting La Fibule with friends after reading the good reviews it had on Trip Advisor, but our experience was not what I’d hoped for. We had an early reservation, so the restaurant was empty and we were told to just sit where we wanted which was fine. When we sat down, no menus were offered. When I asked for menus, our waiter was rude. The food we ordered came fairly promptly, but the hummus I’d ordered was not seasoned and bland. Another place recommended to me by friends. Easy to book and although early we were greeted by staff and shown to our table. The menu is amazing and I literally wanted to eat everything on there. For starters we had Mussels and calamari which were well cooked and very flavoursome. Houmous, obviously home made and beautiful. Sardines, well cooked but I would have liked a little more spice. Mains We had three different tagines and the vegetarian cous cous. All beautiful. This place is highly recommended.
A mid-week dinner. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived, and we were greeted by the owner. The food – as ever- was delicious, I enjoyed the merguez sausage (but was actually a bit jealous of my partner’s crab starter). I had Poulet Atlas (chicken Goats cheese) with couscous and she had a lamb and apricot tagine. Everything was good (and, frankly, much better than we’ve eaten in Marrakesh). Very reasonable prices and BYOB.
My wife and I had a meal this evening. We weren’t sure what to expect, as from outside the restaurant looks quite ordinary and plain. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered into a vibrantly decorated restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The service is excellent, food delicious and very reasonably priced for the large portion sizes. Can’t recommend enough. We will definitely be returning.

It's not very often when I look at the menu I could have had 5 different starters, mains and desserts, such was the quality on course. Had s super scallops with spinach in a chilli sauce. Delightful. Then mains of lamb with yoghurt, sage and mint with some couscous. Lovely. Finished with mango and passion fruit cheesecake. Fabulous. Thirty pounds. I will be back.
A very pleasant meal here. The food is tastly and hot (where appropriate and the service charming and prompt. Though we don't get here often (largely because car parking in Moseley id awful! we've never had a bad meal and always enjoyed ourselves.
We stumbled upon this place on the way home from the pub. The food is amazing and very reasonably priced. The lamb tagines were beautiful and the staff very warm and welcoming. Will definitely visit again!
Really enjoyed our night at La Fibule, it was our third time here and the food is as delicious as I remember. Service was good and the atmosphere very friendly. Food is delicious. I definitely recommend.

Excellent food, good veggie choice. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Owner/manager has a great sense of humour! If you want good food and a good welcome this is the place to go.
Can't fault La Fibule. Service and food were spot on. Cool Moroccan vibe inside which added to the experience. Highly recommend the Couscous Marrakech.
