La Gouesnière - Table reservation

the greeting at the reception in the hotel was lukewarm. we were asked where we had reservations, the bistro or the restaurant? we said the restaurant twice and the receptionist told us the hotel had 2 restaurants. we repeated that we did not eat in the restaurant in the bistro. no great start! the food was delicious and could not be fault-free. the lobster main course was exceptional, the service was attentive to begin, but became less than the restaurant became more busy. we had to pour our own wee at the end of the meal. a small point, but for a michelin restaurant it was not on standard.

mediocre dishes with mediocre service. could have been better if attentive. terroir and aromen were not used enough. make it pop and give them detailed attention, instead of passing in the service. I expect, for example, in a 1* michael my cry before my teller.

Great place and marvelous dinner. We had the Lobster menu 3 Lobster dishes plus cheese and souffle with a bottle of Chablis 1er Cru. It was a bill of 300 Eur for 2, but really worth it, as the taste and the creativity were amazing.

I loved everything, even 4 courses were enough and all were delicious?, service was excellent, stayed full and happy?
