My friend and I decided to give the restaurant a try. We went on a weekday at about 1:00 The outdoor waterfall was nice and gave us high hopes the food would be good. We were greeted by an elderly gentleman who was quite friendly. The atmosphere was Hispanic, with bold colors of blue, yellow, red, and green. Traditional Mexican artwork on the walls. Brick-colored tiled floor. There were a few tables occupied by construction men. I ordered an Asada taco bowl. My friend ordered chili Verde. My bowl lacked seasoning. Seriously, it was like the chef forgot to add any spice at all! My friend said the chili Verde was ok, but wouldn't order it again. At the end of our meal, I needed to use the rest...
I judge my Mexican restaurants through their chili Rellenos, beans, chips and salsa and La Mina achieved an A on all above. I had her lunch buffet $9.99. Little buffet, but everything was delicious. Today, the buffet includes rice, beans, enchiladas, chicken skins, chili rellenos (yum! , tortillas, bbq ribs and menudo with all fixations and some fresh fruits and pudding. The iced tea was in a huge Mason glass and if you ask, they will bring you chips and salsa. Perfect lunch?
La Mina Cantina has the best food! I usually order through Instacart, but this time I was out and about, so I decided to drive to the restaurant to pick up a to-go order. The restaurant itself is lovely, and the staff was super friendly. I didn't have to wait long at all. I ordered the three-plate combo, which included a shredded beef taco that I love, along with a cheese enchilada and chili relleno. Those are my favorites to get there, and they are absolutely delicious!
The food was tasty, and the portion sizes were reasonable. Prices were typical for a cantina-style restaurant. The booths were located toward the back, providing a bit more privacy than usual. The service was outstanding; we didn't have to wait long to get our server's attention. They also offer a buffet at specific times, which we unfortunately missed, but it looked appealing.

For the lunch buffet the food was terrible and the server did not even ignore us napkins. After we finished, the price was on the $9.99 pre-election, but they paid $11.99 and did not let you know that your soft drinks were not part of the buffet. Fearing experience will never eat there again
The aguachiles are good, the molcajete almost does not bring any meat, only like 5 shrimp, a piece of chicken, one of chorizo and one of meat and full of sauce, I do not recommend it. the service was a bit slow and we had to wait about 7 minutes for omelettes after we already had our food.
The service was excellent, and the menu featured traditional dishes at a reasonable price. I highly recommend the chili mango margarita!
It was alright. And I mean just alright. We went for lunch specials and it was just okay. Nothing to say Wow I want to rush back there
