La Rapiere - Table reservation

Actually I delete my previous review which was written under anger ! We went there , and were shocked by the waiter who according to us DOES NOT DESERVE THIS JOB ! Food was good . He took our orders wrongly , drinks came in the middle of the starters despite the fact we asked twice. Wine came wrong ... Some drinks even never came ! Main course came cold. Dessert after a wait of 25 mns. We spoke to the manager after the dinner who was very caring, to voice out our anger. This man waiter should not , does not deserve this job. He does not seem to be willing to work. He is unprofessional and not at all customer orientated. I feel for the new owner of the place and hope she makes the good decisi...

Repas du midi entre amis (13pers, adultes et enfants). Un service très compliqué : plusieurs erreurs de table, beaucoup d'attente avant de desservir et 3 serveurs différents pendant le repas. Résultat, un déjeuner de plus de 3h, c'est long, très long. C'est dommage, les plats sont bons et bien présentés.En conclusion, un service à revoir de toute urgence.

Nothing redeeming about the experience. The food was mediocre at best How they get Sarladaise potatoes to taste of nothing I dont know. The Snails tasted of tinned soup. Service was slow and showed no interest. I thought these sort of tourist traps had been eradicated by online reviews. Eat somewhere else anywhere else!

Toast grillés, viande carbonisés, poisson a peine cuit, mousse au chocolat qui est une crème avec de la chantilly chaude: un vrai désastre!Un seul wc avec une chasse d eau qui ne fonctionne pas...Nous sommes finalement parti après 2h sans avoir attendu nos desserts! Un vrai piège à touriste.

Une belle soirée. Le restaurant est idéalement placé pour assister aux différents spectacles de rue de Sarlat. Très bon repas, serveurs souriants...
