I've never been let down by a meal at Lazy Boy BBQ. From the fried pickles and banana pudding to the pimento cheese, brisket, delicious sides, and of course, the BBQ, everything is fantastic! Sherrie and Tommy are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet, and their staff is consistently friendly. Today, I stopped by for the Fish Fry and ordered the catfish plate to-go. When I got home and opened the box, I was amazed to find two huge pieces of catfish! It was all I could do to eat them, especially with the hush puppies, mac and cheese, and banana pudding also included. Honestly, I shouldn't have been surprised—this is exactly why I love Lazy Boy BBQ so much!
For our graduation celebration, Tommy and his wife Sherri provided an amazing catering service. They supplied pulled pork, chicken, mac and cheese, baked beans, tea, and all the necessary utensils for around 50 people. Each piece of meat was incredibly tender, practically melting in your mouth, and the mac and cheese and baked beans were absolutely delicious. Being near a national treasure like Pete Jones BBQ in Greenville, NC, I have to say I haven't found anything better south of the Mason-Dixon Line. Thank you both for everything!
This family is so kind and gracious and the food is excellent! The potato salad has ranch in it and is incredible! I'm a big fan of every thing I've ever tasted from them but would, since the meat is naked when served, offer a suggestion. I'd love to see a white sauce as well as a vinegar based sauce and slaw. Again, the food is excellent and the portions are quite generous. ..but those suggestions would take this place to a new level of greatness! Thank you for hosting the Alabaster supper club and every thing was perfect!
I had a fantastic dining experience! The staff was friendly, and the portion sizes were generous. The Pimento cheese was fantastic and made a perfect complement to my BBQ plate. We enjoyed our meal on the terrace, which was quite comfortable thanks to the ceiling fans providing a pleasant breeze. The staff checked on us several times and ensured our food was served promptly. I highly recommend visiting them soon!

We're a bride-snob family! My husband is from Texas and we ate some of the best BBQ joints in Austin and Lockhart. Lazy Boys Brisket is delicious. We order it moist. Not only is her brisket good, but her smoked fried wings are dying, and the cracker shell was my husband Fav! So glad to support a small city business!
The BBQ sandwich here is amazing! I love BBQ and usually drive to Birmingham or Ttown to have Dreamland... but now I just drive right down the road and have the best BBQ I've ever had!! The loaded potato salad is amazing and different! The added ranch and bacon make it some of the best I've ever had.
My girlfriend and myself visited Friday night at Letson Farms and wow!! I got what I found out was called the Pig Pen and finished off her chicken nachos!! Meat was wonderfully flavored and the pimento cheese on my sandwich was the best I've eaten! Will have to go visit a store!
Great service! Employees at the register were top notch. Talked to the owner while waiting on food, and he is a great guy! Oh and the food was awesome. Been there several times and every time has been great! Glad y’all are in Alabaster!
