Visited this charming restaurant situated on the bank of the River Aveyron overlooking the bridge. We sat outside on the shaded verandah watching the canoeists trying to navigate the waters.The service we received from both waitresses was simply outstanding. The attention to detail was exemplary. As it was lunchtime our party of four opted for the plat du jour. My seafood cocktail was enchanting with little crispy crumbs of some sort of savoury biscuit on top of a layer of fish flavoured creme and a mixture of mussels and prawns at the bottom. Couldn't be set in a more spectacular setting . Menu a bit confusing to sort out with so many different set price options with added specials which was on a desperate menu on the table . I think individually priced menu for each dish would be easier . But aside from that starter was massive so I had to leave room for other courses. Rest of meal I couldn't fault . My husbands main course as a tomato tart - just a tomato tart in the middle of the plate . Really sparse looking but his starter and dessert was lovely. This was a factor which came back to the set menu options. Wine delicious and a really good choice . Would go back if I can talk my husband around
Expensive , but great food and a lovely terrace with views of the river. We spent a very pleasant lunch watching the canoes pass under the bridge and down the river. My one complaint is their approach to service. We tried to book a table with over 24 hours notice for 11 people. That was apparently too difficult unless we all had the same dish. The restaurant was however happy to take a table of 6 and one of 5 at the same time when we walked in on the day we wanted to pre-book for.
We had amazing dinner, being vegetarians we dont get too many options, but this was one of the best vegetarians meal we had in the region. Excellent presentation of food and a warm service.The meal was reasonably priced and we would revisit this restaurant in we returned to this region on vacation

We had a nice meal in this restaurant out of season in the evenings you can't see the view of the river but I'm sure it's lovely. Food was good, nicely presented and reasonable value. Slightly lacked ambience despite there being a few other couples dining on a quiet Saturday evening in October.
The food here is good as is the situation but the service and attitude is awful. They are actually rude. We waited 30 mins before a menu arrived or drink was offer. Please avoid.
Fabulous. A place with a view over the river. Service friendly and professional, the food ... absolutely delicious! A special place and the bill wasn't exorbitant! Many thanks.
Atmosphere presentation was first rate. Cuisine experience was mixed with the main the dessert both excellent (photos).

don't fall for the lovely setting - when service is this rude you leave very dissatisfied. especially avoid with kids.
I loved it. very fine and copied kitchen. Great, don't change anything.
