We have eaten in this restaurant many many times over a year period and have always been nothing but polite to the owner. Today when we arrived there were plenty of empty tables so we sat down and the owner very brusquely demanded our...pass sanitaire. We understand that this is legal requirement and to that end had our UK passes to hand. He flicked a look at them and walked away with a simple Non!!!! Given our history with this restaurant and this owner I’m horrified to be treated with such disrespect. I can only assume it’s because we have British passports. Thankfully every other restaurant (most of a higher grade, this has slipped of late) have been nothing but welcoming. Shame on you. D...
One of the nicest settings for dining al fresco in Vence. Beautiful square and less of a thoroughfare than elsewhere. Boy, does the owner work hard. Covering all the tables, in and out serving, taking orders etc. Shame as the stress gets to him and...he is a bit snappy until it quieten downs. With a waiter/waitress or two I suspect the dining experience would be better, the food would nudge up to very good with the owners eye and prices and profit would also move up. The food was very French, lashings of garlic in the aioli, and good value. Less stress, more bonhomie and up goes the rating.
we were due to the many positive reviews in this restaurant. However, in the evening you cannot go spontaneously, but you have to reserve what we have done. the food was fantastic! we've never eaten so well. the local is rather small, there are few places, these are located outside on a small space under free sky. very romantic. all guests are served by a man who swirls through the tables and leaves no long wait. top! the great food, the fresh products, the great one-man service are definitely worth the prices!
We checked some restaurants in Vence old city and decided to eat in Le Michel Ange. It was an excellent dinner from beginning to end. The service was very welcoming, fast an in English translation! The first courses and main courses were excellent. France cuisine with Italian touch. Every dish was fresh and tasty. Also the desserts were wonderful and we liked them all. The restaurant located in a small square close to the church. Very beautiful view and charming atmosphere. A perfect place to dine in Vence.

A great restaurant, full of locals, in a shady corner of a pretty square.Very friendly and patient service -took the time to explain the menu in detail.The menu is small but the quality of the food was excellent and this was one of our favourite...restaurants of our holiday. Highly recommended.
excellent lunch for this restaurant taken by regulars and well-trained tourists. desserts are very good, ravioli with fantastic daube. the terrace on the square is pretty and pleasant. special dedication to the boss who left me the dish of the tiramisu to finish it!!
quiet, a little away from the brouhaha of summer places and under a majestic chestnut, a very tasteful kitchen, served with brio by someone who wants to work and content, something rare in our civilizationI will return and above all I recommend
we come regularly to vence in the middle angel and it is always a treat. do not especially miss the ioli of Friday noon: attention, you have to book. the boss is welcoming and especially he loves people! never miss this restaurant in the past
