I just returned from Ledo's and it was quite disappointing. I called ahead to order our food because my autistic son has trouble waiting. After a short wait, we received our pizza, but the beef with cheese I had preordered was missing. By the time everyone had finished their pizza, my husband was still waiting for his beef, which took about 20 minutes. I went up to the register to ask for it to go instead. After an additional 10 minutes, it was placed on the finished order window but was just left there while we waited. Finally, I inquired if that was our order, and someone from the kitchen came out to hand it to us. I also had to ask for a bag. Meanwhile, my husband and son were waiting in...
My family and I have always enjoyed Ledos Pizza and have been loyal customers for years, frequently recommending it to our relatives. Unfortunately, after our recent visit to celebrate our daughter's 16th birthday, we are disappointed and will not be returning. We waited an unusually long time for our order, and when we approached the counter staff to inquire about it, they insisted our food had already been served. They even came to our table to check, including some kitchen staff, which felt unnecessary and frustrating. The attitudes of both the cashier and the chef were unprofessional, and they spoke to us in a condescending manner. I feel compelled to share our experience with others.
Decided to stop since I was in the area and order with my daughter for lunch. Placed our order for the xtra thin crust pizza at 11:25am. No idea why but it took until 12:10pm for the pizza to be done. During this time I saw there much smaller pizzas go into the warmer box for pickup and some deep fried apps come out for people that came in after us. Not sure why with only 4 tables occupied it took so long. Food is a 5. Service and speed a 1.
Delicious pizza! Tavern style thin crust is just what true Chicago pizza should taste like. I would highly recommend going with the whole family! They also have an amazing salad bar and arcade games! I highly highly recommend! Parking: Enough parking for 2 soccer teams ?

The individual at the front entrance was not very attentive. My food was ready, but she decided to place it in the warmer and made me wait for it without any apology. Additionally, the breaded mushrooms were soggy. I will not be ordering takeout from there again.
The pizza is very good. However, the arcade is virtually non existent. Only a handful of machines, and all but 1 were claw games. . If you 're looking for a place to take the kids to play games, go elsewhere
Kind of a cafeteria style pizza place you order at the counter then go pick it up the pizza is good the system work. They have been doing it this way for years
I began visiting Ledo's in the early 70s! Louise Dorgan used her own special recipe for the enormous meatballs, and they’re still made the same way today!
