I visited Ohio from Wisconsin this weekend and my niece recommended Lee's. I stopped at this location and the food and staff were fantastic. It was my first time trying Lee's and the cashier guaranteed me that I would like it, but I ended up loving it. The spicy chicken and the old school KFC tasting baked beans were delicious. I couldn't wait to get home to finish the rest, and now I'm sad because it's all gone. A big shout out to the staff and restaurant, it was a hit. I hope they can open a couple of locations in the Milwaukee area. The service, food, and atmosphere were all top-notch. The recommended dishes are the potato wedges, fried chicken, and breast. I used to frequent this location for years because the other options were not good, but this time was a complete disappointment. When I arrived, it looked like the restaurant was closed with no customers or employee cars in sight. I ordered a large order of liver/gizzards and a chicken meal through the speaker, and had to wait 15 minutes before receiving my food. When I got home, I found that the green beans were ice cold, the chicken had a strange taste, and there were very few livers compared to gizzards. The food was old, burnt, and too hard to chew, so I ended up throwing it all away. I wasted my money and am extremely disappointed.

I should have double-checked my order, but I only ordered a 3-piece meal with a sweet tea. I was surprised to receive the wrong 3 pieces with the wrong breading, along with incorrect sides. What topped it off was being asked if I ordered the special and a large sweet tea, confirming that I did, only to be given the wrong meal and a large unsweetened tea.

I have tried gizzards at many different restaurants across the country due to my frequent travels. Unfortunately, the gizzards at this particular establishment were the worst I have ever had. They were soggy instead of crispy and had a strange taste that made them inedible. They were served in a cup and looked like they had been hastily scooped out of grease, resulting in a lack of crunchiness. Overall, I would rate the food as 1 out of 5.
