Came across this delightful place by chance. Clearly things have changed since previous reviews or we were extremely lucky. The building is well kept, presented superbly. There is inside and outside seating. Staff were attentive and service no less than expectation. We asked if they had filled rolls or sandwiches, to which we were offered the usual choices. The resulting plate of food was delicious as was the still lemonade. Large filled roll for 3.5 euros. Very tasty. Couldn’t fault anything here, including the ‘guest only’ toilet facilities. Would definitely return. Gardens pretty and well maintained, wonderful views.
Set on the balcony of a stunning grand house, with views across Orotavo, this café serves tasty and authentic tapas. We had delicious prawns in garlic, serrano ham and manchego cheese. Service a bit slow, but would definitely recommend. One of a number of unusual and interesting eating locations we found in northern Tenerife!
the taoro liceo is an impressive case in the old quarter of the orotava, opposite the square kiosko. The gardens are beautiful. you can only visit the entrance and enjoy the terrace and the cafeteria. it is private and does not allow you to enter other spaces. it deserves to take something on the terrace and enjoy the views.
Estuvimos compartiendo en familia y disfrutamos de varias tapas las cuales estuvieron deliciosas. Atendido por sus propietarias, el servicio fue muy bueno. Lo mejor fue el Saperoco que es un café con un toque de alcohol, este café es uno de los mejores del mundo. 100% recomendado.

Table not cleaned before we were served. Didn’t bring the menu to the table, forgot to bring the water. All takes very long. Salad was served without dressing. No soap in the ladies room. The one star is for the view.
Precioso y agradable. Llegamos muy temprano para ver los edificios de alrededor así que nos paramos a tomar algo. La camarera de pelo naranja ha sido un amor y muy atenta. Y la casa nos dejó enamorados

El lugar es muy agradable, tiene buenas vistas, es un palacio, por lo que tiene atractivo sólo para eso. El servicio de restaurante es “batallero”, sin pretensiones.

The food was horrible, the service was non-existent, and waiters were incredibly rude. Clearly the owner has no interest in establishing a good reputation.
