Absolutely love this place, it's one of my go-to's for soup dumplings. At times I feel like it's better than Dynasty. But this again is my own personal preference. Price has gone up a slight, but still worth it and still affordable even in this economy. One of my favorite things to have their aside from soup dumplings, Beijing style pork pastry. Absolutely amazing, but just like the soup dumpling you got to bite a little hole into the top first, then either drink the soup from the pastry or dump it into a bowl. then let it cool down before you bite into it, since it can be scalding hot. Because it is very juicy as well as very tasty. There's also the option of adding soy sauce or black vineg...

So I ordered take out ginger beef and it turned out to be something that's barely edible. The beef was highly deep fried, hard to chew, didn't taste like beef, and had no ginger flavour. I couldn't finish this and threw it out. Beef should be stir fried with slices of ginger not deep fried to hell. Will not order from here again. What a disappointment.
I had their lunch special of house special chowmein today. It came with a bowl of hot and sour soup. Waitress lady was smiling and showed to care about customers. Dish was yummy (probably the best in 5km radius) and the price was so honest unlike most of others going with the trend of inflation little too much. Highly recommended.

Dan-Dan noodle and xiao long bao (pork soup dumpling)! Those are must tries here. They are one of the best restaurants in town making them. My kids liked honey prawns and Shanghai fried noodle, too.The place is small and can be a bit busy but be patient, the ladies there are very nice and helpful.
Very decent lunch combo around UBC! The jumbo prawns were so fresh and coated with super delicious sauce, a perfect balance of sweet and savory. The only drawback might be the soup, I wish it could be more flavorful, but the very attentive 阿婆 was defo a PLUS! Will come back for more ;
Lin is DIRTY!!!!! I just went in to grab a soya sauce packet for my to go order on the busboy went in a drawer and pulled an OLD EXPIRD DIRTY PACK of soya sauce ?????? GROSS!! Never will I ever eat here again! Lost a customer! Bad customer service!
