The pizza and meatballs were great. Our server was friendly and fast. There was a large party including toddlers in the loft seating area that was VERY loud. It was disruptive to diners below. The table next to us also commented on how noisy they were. It would have been helpful if the staff asked them to keep their kids from running around and squealing.
We always love the food and atmosphere at Locale 90! It's a California-style, foodie-friendly, Italian restaurant with a good selection of drinks, too. Try the Niçoise salad and the spicy salami pizza! The service is good, but we thought our waiter could be a little friendlier on our last visit. Otherwise, this is a great overall experience every time.
It seems like this restaurant doesn't receive many reservations. We were seated in a cozy loft upstairs. When we ordered, we were told that the pizzas are probably too small to share, so we ended up getting two. It was enough food, but we found it to be quite expensive for what we received.

Understaffed... our used plates sat and piled up on our table. Staff walked by and looked at them several times and never cleared it til our main courses came out. Drinks took forever
The pizza was fantastic, the beet salad was delicious, the meatballs were tasty, and they had a small but nice variety of beers. A great hidden gem in the neighborhood!
The dining experience is always exceptional, especially for families with children. The food is excellent.
