Covid is scary, I know, we all know.... but this location made me feel safe to be around that many people in one place. The manager was very attentive on making sure people were spread apart enough to enjoy their lunch. And he didn’t let us just stand around he helped! The lady who gave us our salad greeted me and my family so kindly it was super nice to hear a joyous voice. The food was delicious to us I know I had square fish but I love square fish Nice and clean restaurant, kudos!
Called in an order for lunch, was simple convenient order. My plate was ready and warm when I arrived. They have to go parking for quick in out access. Got liver and onions plate with 2 sides, broccoli cheese and the other was sweet potato. Thejalapeño bread roll has a good kick to it. Portions are ample for a hearty lunch, I personally save half for left overs.
I truly enjoyed the food at Luby’s; the menu offers a wide variety of delicious options. It was my first visit, and I got there early, so I waited for the restaurant to open—haha! Arriving early meant everything was spotless. Although I had to get up a few times to refill my drink, it didn’t bother me in the least.

The ladies who served our table were amazing! I think their names were Darlene and Amber, and they did a fantastic job. The food was, as always, excellent! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The only thing we really miss each time we come is the bowl rest or rail in front of the salad bar.
.... Pharr location is the best loved it everything was so good brought my hubby for his 1st time and he loved it... the fried chicken my fav.. I went after 5 years... thanks for everything ill be back :
Love it come here every time we go to the basilica down the road for church this is my favorite after church lunch spot before going home to San Antonio
The fried fish was as good as ever. Cabbage, not as much. Comfort food here, and it's never all that crowded, with lots of places to sit.
