Really wanted to love it. I'm not sure if they were short staffed last night but the server was sweet as can be, but she rarely checked in, we waited 25 minutes for a slice of cake, any request took longer than necessary. I ordered the Amber Jack, was so appealing to the eye, but once I cut into the middle of it, it was raw. I waited for at least 15-20 min for the server to check in on us once our food was dropped off to let her know it was raw. I jokingly said they could just throw it in a pan and cook that one. Since they actually did do just that the fish was so dry and tough it was inedible. The forbidden rice was overcooked as well. We spent $180 for subpar service and my meal was just...
My daughter and I walked into this restaurant 70 minutes before closing on a Friday night. We were road weary after driving from Tallahassee, FL, on our way to Chicago. Madeline’s looked like the perfect spot to sup our family enjoys a creative dining experience. We never got that far. We entered and were greeted by a young woman who informed us that the only options for dining were cocktails and dessert. This left a bad taste in my mouth. We departed and continued our search for a welcoming place. Because Madeline’s was not that.
Great experience at Madeline’s fusion restaurant—the food was great, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was excellent. We went in the early evening and were seated in the bright front area of the restaurant. They were easily able to attentively accommodate our party of 6 1 infant. They had a couple of tasty fish on the menu from a recent deep sea fishing expedition (sheepshead and amberjack) both of which were very good. And the cocktails were perfect. Excited to come back when the back patio is open!
Absolutely tremendous. I realize this is a public forum. I'm adjusting to alpha gal from a tick bite(s). Charles is fabulous as is the entire staff in making a way for people to dine mammalian free. It was stunningly delicious. Charles provided outstanding care to the group. He is both charming and engaging. The food is delicious! I'm eager to return to eat delectable foods once alpha gal clears with appropriate acupuncture! THANK YOU! EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY!

Bib Gourmand, in my book. Well curated menu offering a range from comforting to something I don’t feel I could attempt to replicate at home. My chosen dish had a sauce that was a pure poetry, with a very refined balance complimenting and not overpowering a white fish protein. The cocktails very excellent! The restaurant delivers delicious eats at a reasonable price point, at a relaxed dining atmosphere. What’s not to like?
Food was fantastic, no doubts about that, but pleasure of evening dining out was greatly diminished by waiter, who was either poorly trained or just too young and immature to execute the training. In any case, his ineffectual attempts at being a professional waitstaff (and there was only 1 other table with customers) will make me hesitate to return.
Celebrated 3 year anniversary. Very nice and romantic atmosphere. My food was delicious. I got the stuff sea trout. Worth every penny. My boyfriend got the stuffed chicken breast. He said it was good however the chicken was a bit dry and not really worth the price. He did like the cocktails he got same, same but different) Overall good experience.
The owners of this place is very rude and the waitress and waiter are the same I would not eat nothing at this place would not recommend. Go to sauces are carvers better service better food...
