Two days ago I had my second meal at this small restaurant. The first one was months ago when I had their Sunday roast pork with a crust special. This time I opted for trout. The trout was excellent and also the parsley potatoes-...very yellow and creamy.First prize goes to the salad which comes with the meal. It was the freshest combination of baby red leaf, green leaf and butter lettuce with some alfalfa sprouts and a very sweet and ripe piece of tomato. Requested oil and vinegar rather than the standard salad dressing and balsamic vinegar and olive oil were brought to the table. Service was very friendly although my German is almost nonexistent. The restaurant is close to my usual lodging...
Honestly a great authentic German restaurant. Their schlappeseppel winterbock was great!, and so was the apfelwein, free of charge. The staff was very friendly and in the cold of November their heated pipes along the baseboards were very welcome. We had the frankfurter schnitzel dish...and it was amazing! We also had their Frankfurt sample plate forget the German name, it had a variety of dips and was very tasty. The price of our two dishes beers was euros. Worth it in my honest opinion. As a last hurrah, this place was recommended by Olaf, our Airbnb stay, truly amazing
Leckere originale aus Hessen und das beste aus aller Welt. Immer gut besucht obwohl wenig Information im Netz zu finden ist. Geniales Tartar, Schnitzel mit Grüne Soße und manchmal auf der Tafel: Entrecote gegrillt. Geschmacklich so gut wie in New York (hat wohl auch so ein speziellen Grill). Immer wieder gerne...
Absolutely great experience from arrival to departure! The food is a dream! The service is sooooooooo impeccable and charming! Despite the barrière language they were amazing! Very good choice of german foods and schnitzel in all possible combinations. Warm, clean and nice place to spend an evening. Reservation is a MUST.Service very efficient. Price ok. Ask always for the german menu as the english one has less choice. No credit card...unfortunately... Will surely return!
Me and my boyfriend stayed in Frankfurt four days for businness and we could not renounce to our dinner at Malepartus. We tried a different meal every night and everything was excellent! the oners are very kind and the atmosphere is relaxing. we really reccomande...this restaurant!
We had the Frankfurter Platte as a starter. Only ordered one for sure: it is enough for four people. After this all of us had a Schnitzel. Best one was the Frankfurter Schnitzel with french fries and a tasty grüne Soße you have...to try.
This place used to be Kult a long time ago, it seems. The food was good, but nothing special. Decent Bornheim stuff, nothing compared to and more years ago. Schade!
