My family and I came to the restaurant on Saturday, July 22, 2023. We have eaten at several different locations and loved it. When we walked in this particular location, we were not greeted as usual. The girl at the counter was less than friendly. She seemed reluctant to even want to take our order. We placed our order and found a seat inside. There was no coffee and we could not get anyone to help us get coffee. They were out of juice. We noticed about 25 minutes later that we did not have our food. Food: fantastic! Biscuits and gravy, super yum. That gravy has a kick to it y’all. Be prepared. Chicken biscuit sandwich for the kiddo was eaten down to the last crumb. The biscuit sandwich with apple butter sounded amazing in theory, however the apple butter was ice cold and ladled on so thick that it didn’t live up to the hype.Atmosphere: the dining area is easy and inviting. Disappointing.. My husband and I had really looked forward to trying Maple Street Biscuit Company but will not be back. I ordered the five and dime biscuit, and my husband ordered the retro plate. After waiting over half an hour for something we thought would only take 15 minutes, my husband went to check on our order, only to be told the health inspector had shown up . Not sure why that would delay our food. I can understand why the health inspector was there. The restaurant was filthy. The atmosphere is nice and the people are friendly. The food is ok. I got the bacon and cheddar omelete added peppers and onions with a side of smashbrowns. The omelet was dry and I attribute that to it being cooked in a waffle iron. Zero seasoning. The salsa that comes with it doesn't mess well with it, but that's where the flavor was. The smashbrowns were nice and crispy but lacked flavor as well. My youngest daughter got chicken and waffles. No flavor there. She added hot sauce to get some kind of kick. The food was delicious, but the service left much to be desired. We placed our order, and the cashier accurately repeated it back to us, yet somehow she mixed it up by changing our drinks and my name. After waiting a long time to be called, I went to check on our order. They claimed to have called my name, but it was actually the other name they announced. Additionally, the drinks didn’t match our order. Eventually, the manager had to step in to resolve the situation, as the other staff members seemed confused and unresponsive. He managed to fix the issue.
This place was a complete surprise! I went in because I was hungry and I was pleasantly satisfied ?! I ordered the fruttafffle (I hope it spelled it correctly). It’s a waffle made out eggs...delish!!! Everyone that's likes a spin on an omelets should try it. Do I sound like a commercial? I should be on one because this place is just awesome (BTW I've had many other things on the menu, but I have to jeep the post short). Just go. Tell them Toni B. sent you!!
The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely, but the service we received was disappointing. My friend and I felt ignored, as if we were invisible. I noticed the staff were friendly and engaging with other guests, but we didn’t get the same treatment, which was disappointing since we are new to the area. My suggestion is to improve your hospitality and not come off as dismissive towards newcomers.
Stopped by for Breakfast while Visiting the area. A bit disappointed. Facility was dirty sticky tables and silverware was unclean. Lots of trash stacked around the room. Food was mediocre biscuit was not thoroughly cooked. Coffee was VERY weak.

This restaurant is fantastic! When you order, you share your favorite cartoon character, and they call you by that name when your food is ready. How amazing is that? Plus, the orange juice is delicious! I highly recommend trying it.
