We're lucky to have 4 solid Mexican spots near/on San Mateo Ave but Mar y Mar and Mi Durango are my go-tos. The food is great and the Micheladas are reason enough to choose this place over any of the other restaurants in the area.
Its not on the menu, but La Preparada is the best drink they have. Beer, lime, shrimp juices, and a touch of salt y agusto papa. Los mariscos estan chingones
Maybe we didn't order house special, which seemed to be seafood. We had tacos and enchiladas that were average. There were a lot of families eating here. Book a table now
If you like micheladas (beer and tomato spiced) and good seafood you need to try this place. They have many different seafood plates and soups.
Many years, this place has been great. Both food and service. Don't forget to tip the mariachi that come and go! Good for big parties.
