I decided to dine at Marino's Cafe based on the positive TripAdvisor reviews, and it did not disappoint. One thing worth mentioning upfront is that most of the servers were not very fluent in English, except for one. However, they were all extremely helpful and polite. This actually gave me a chance to use a translation app on my phone to explore the menu and communicate my order. It worked wonderfully, and they truly appreciated my effort while I appreciated their patience. The check came and the charges were different than the ones shown on the menu. When I confronted the waitress, her answer was that the ingredients keep going up and they can't update the menues fast enough. Is that even legal??? This is the seconddissapointment in one week. Last time they brought a ceviche whit a bad fermented odor. After returning the plate to the kitchenwe were confronted by the manager as if it was our fault. Someone would think they would check the plate first before making thecustomer even more uncomfortable. We won't be going back to this place anytime soon.
Amazing Peruvian food in the Morris County area! I must say I've been ordering take-out for the past three years with no complaints. Today I went to dinner with my mom and the service was fast, friendly, and extremely attentive. I cannot thank thewaitresses enough they were all making sure we were okay constantly and always with a lovely smile. I will definitely be backfor more! A must-try will be the ceviche mixto!
her aroz chaufa (fritter rice) with huh is delicious! we have just ordered for picking up here, so I can say a lot about their dining room service, but the ladies who work their are always very nice and attentive. when we order food, it is always timely and exactly what we have ordered. go in any case if they are looking for good Peruvian food!

Wow! The fish ceviche hits the spot with the marinade, sweet potato, corn and crunchy corn!! The Lomo soltado is authentic. Great service and quick service.
The Peruvian food at Marino's Cafe is outstanding. I've heard great things about it for years, and I especially love the chaufa and pollo a la brasa.
