Update 6/15/2023: I just had another fantastic meal at Mario's! The food and service were both excellent. Thank you, Alex! I can never resist ordering the cannoli. I've been dining at Mario's for years, and my family has been getting take-out from here long before the restaurant even opened. My wife and I held our wedding reception here 17 years ago, and our family gathered to celebrate after my dad's funeral (he was a big fan of Mario's too). We just celebrated my brother's birthday here. The quality of the food and the level of service remain just as exceptional as ever. Mario's is undoubtedly our favorite Italian restaurant!
Wanted to share a quick meal with my husband after a shopping trip and while driving down Old Country Road came across Mario's! Surprisingly it was quite for a Friday evening the atmosphere was calm and the servers were very friendly! The food came out nice and hot the aroma was very stimulating and we polished off our Shrimp Scampi Pizzette in no time. We were so full that there was no room for dessert for once we decided to listen to our tummies and gave it a break!! Will definitely stop by for a cannoli, in the near future... Thank you Lord!
This is a lovely restaurant that offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The food is quite good, with a variety of options to choose from. However, one downside was that the staff came around a bit too often to check if we needed anything else, which interrupted our conversation. In the end, we decided to have the leftover food packed up and left. Other than that, everything was fine.
I grew up in Plainview and also come here or the little one right in the other small shopping center but I like coming to this one because the owner Peter always remembers me by name and I haven’t been here in years because I no longer live in Plainview but here for 2 weeks and I had to stop in for their awesome pizza!
