My second time at Marugame Udon, just at a different location. Food was quick and portions are very generous with the dishes and complimentary add ons as well. Workers were very friendly and the place had an overall welcoming atmosphere. The food itself was good too, i got the Tan Tan a spicy vegan udon to me it was not that spicy but it was still a good dish. I also got the Chicken Katsu Teriyaki and that was great as well. Had an overall good experience, would come again.
The broth was super brothyand the chicken was very chickeny. Chickeny in a good way. The udon was so udony and the furnishing was furnished. The process was quick and we were eating within minutes. When we went, we had to show proof of vaccinations so make sure you have that ready on hand. Finding parking might take a while but you?ll find one eventually. Would recommend the place to anyone who wants tasty udon .
A splendid time! The beef udon was exceptionally delectable and the broth itself was sensationally scintillating! I am currently in the little man’s room expressing my gratitude for my time here and even now I can still smell the memorable aroma of the meal within my number 2 (if you know what I mean ? ? . I?ve been to a couple branches. This one, the location is great and there?s a lot of seating. Pricing is so good for the amount and food is delicious. However at other locations, there are sometimes more tempura options. I would still come here often. We went on a Thursday night and didn?t wait long. Book a table now
I got the curry udon and it was very tasty and filling! I got the regular size and that was more than enough for me.The place is partially self serve except for the noodles they plate that for you but the add-ons you do yourself.I’m definitely coming back to try other dishes. Recommend for sure.
Best udon chain in Bay Area, once tried it at Hawaii, and lucky now open couple locations in Bay Area ! Udon is chewy and tasty, soup is so authentic, the tempura and add one are pretty good as well. Definitely can feed my craving stomach with high quality comfort food!
A good bowl of Ramen for a reasonable price. It can get busy but the cafeteria style service means a lot of people can be served quickly. It?s not as good as the Honolulu location, but it?s still a good value.
Self serve. Quick. Tempura sweet potato was cold and doughy, not sweet at all. Chicken katsu curry rice has very soft chicken katsu. Curry tastes different than other Japanese Restaurants. Book a table now
Tonkotsu udon with shrimp and squid tempura were very good, full of flavor. Workers behind the counter were very friendly and helpful.
