I was shopping at Joondalup yesterday and as is usually the case, forgot about lunch till the hunger pangs started niggling around 2pm. I made a beeline for Maya Masala in the downstairs food court and was happy to find my old favourite, chicken kati roll on the menu It's usually about a 10 minute wait for this which is a good sign that it's freshly prepared. It's a giant of a meal, with spicy chicken, fried onions and capsicum wrapped in a massive roti paratha. It's always messy to eat, so I end up opening the kati roll and eating it with a knife and fork. thali with two naans on last Thursday, the naans were so hard to eat. Food was
disgusting. The staff was so rude. When I talked to give feedback, they didn’t
even respond properly, total waste of money…. Tjos was the third experience and

I would give it below 1 rating..!! Firstly the customer service from the man who is at the counter is very snobbish.. he just gave us a no smile and attitude with a " i don't care if you buy" sort of attitude. The food when we ate it, we could not even pull apart a piece of naan as it was so rubbery and the butter chicken was soo sweet!! I could taste the sugar in it.. I have never ever had sweet butter chicken in my life! Was so disappointed!! I hope they shut down cause they were all together a horrible experience.

I would give it down 1 review!. first, the customer service of the man who is at the counter is very griefful. he just didn't give us a smile and a posture with one I don't care if they buy a kind of posture. when we ate it, we couldn't even pull a piece of naan apart, as it was so gum-like and the butter chicken was so sweet! I could taste the sugar. I never had sweet butter huh in my life! was so disappointed! I hope they're closing off because they were all together a terrible experience. 1 star!

Yeah, I have eaten at other franchises too where the service and food was great However! same situation with me, starving and well the service was pathetic.The plating looked more like a cow pile.My son ordered tandoori chicken which was not only dry but virtually upalatable.Very poor service, steer well clear peeps! They should close this joint.Personally the curry out of a jar is better, meaning i could cook a better curry at home!
I was charged over $30 for two takeaway combos at this place with a garlic Naan. The Naan was burnt and the two combos in the containers were 3/4 rice with about 4 or 5 bits of over cooked meat and a heap of greasy sauce.....I love my Curry's and I would have to say this is the single worse curry experience I've ever had, avoid it like the plague!
