I visited this restaurant for the first time and received a warm welcome. I enjoyed chatting with the ladies while I waited for my tacos, which I found to be quite good. I'd rate the tacos a solid 7.8 out of 10 in terms of taste, although I did think they could use a bit more meat. However, since it's a taco, I'm inclined to adjust my rating to a full 5 stars before I finish this review. This is undoubtedly the best taco spot in Tinley Park, and I will definitely be returning soon. It's also a perfect location if you're doing laundry next door. When I'm picking up food to go, I don't really focus on the atmosphere.
As soon as my sister and I stepped inside, we were greeted by two incredibly warm and friendly women. The interior of the restaurant was attractive, creating a cozy and welcoming environment. Our waitress was just as kind, making us feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the tacos—wow! The meat was incredibly tender and had the rich flavor of having marinated and simmered for hours. My sister chose chicken tacos, while I tried one marinated pork and one ground beef. All of them were outstanding. We also enjoyed some chips and salsa before placing our order. We will definitely be coming back!

We absolutely adore Melys; it's our go-to spot for delicious Mexican cuisine! Last night, we dined there and the service was outstanding, with our meals being exceptional as always. Our server was truly a blessing—when our nearly two-year-old was having a little meltdown, she came over and helped us soothe her so that my husband and I could enjoy our dinner. This place is truly a hidden gem! The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is lovely. They genuinely care about your preferences; we requested extra carrots and jalapeños, and the server brought out a whole plate for us.
The dishes were absolutely amazing! We tried the Koko Loco burrito and the Pechuga con queso fundido, and they were by far the best we've ever had. This has definitely become our new favorite Mexican restaurant!
