Our visit to miller and carter Glasgow city centre was amazing! We went for a birthday lunch and had the lunch deal which was great value for money. The service was also fantastic. Our waiter was named Ryan and he made sure we had everything we needed and was so friendly and polite! We couldn’t fault him at all. The food was amazing, the only thing I can fault was I asked for steak to be done medium and would say it was more medium/well done but it was still delicious. We got treated by friends and I was so looking forward to the experience. The staff were exceptional, the wine superb, the main course, sadly a major disappointment. 2 sirloin and a fillet and I tested the steak knife to see if it was sharp. The menu said 50day steak? I've had 30 day that you could cut with a standard kitchen knife and was keen to see what 50day would taste like. It's not chefs fault either, it's the fact that it's cheaply produced beef, shrink wrapped with additive to relax the muscle or not. If I want a steak like that again, I'll go to Clarks.
Staff are so polite and welcoming, atmosphere busy but still enjoyable, food is amazing! We ate here 2 nights whilst away and loved it, cocktails were lovely too. Clean restaurant. Staff really make the visit enjoyable so polite friendly and funny! The only thing was the Yorkshires slightly burnt however a minor issues for 2 amazing nights. Will definitely be back! I have visited this restaurant twice now, once during the soft opening and again yesterday evening. Wednesday nights are special here, with an 8 oz rump steak as the highlight. The atmosphere is elegant and refined.
