This place used to be great when it was Ming’s Court International Buffet. It was always PACKED because the food was great! When they new owners took over I dunno 10 years ago? The cleanliness of the place took a big hit (the bathrooms were seriously nasty) but the overall quality of the food stayed about the same. Maybe 3 or 4 years ago, the place closed down for renovations. They really opened and it was awful. Not much selection. Lots of cold (think yesterdays leftovers thrown back in the steam table) and undercooked greasy food. Stale cookies. Dry and crumbly sushi rolls. Since my favorite Chinese buffet on Route 10 in East Hanover closed, I decided I’d go out if my way to Wharton and gi...

As I read through the reviews below, I was shocked to learn how some reviews are total fake. Especially, the gentleman who said their buffet is $20 when its lunch buffet is only around $12.99. I do not believe their dinner buffet is even $20. Also, their restroom is very clean. I am not sure who those people are, writing fake reviews. If you are ever around, check out the restaurant yourself. ; The best Chinese buffet I have ever been to. Lunch buffet price from Tuesday through Saturday is a little above $12. Very clean. their dishes are NOT too oily, sweet and salty like some other Chinese restaurants. They offer fresh fruits and even soda and coffee are included in the price! Especially, t...
The atmosphere here was very pleasant and not crowded at all. With an all-you-can-eat option for under $20 per person, it offers great value considering the variety available. The food was quite good, better than several other local Asian takeout places. Plus, the option to bring your own wine and beer is a nice touch. The restaurant was clean, and there were plenty of staff on hand to refill pans of pot stickers, sushi, pizza, or even quesadillas. They also have a station where you can create your own noodle dish with a variety of vegetables or other ingredients, cooked to order on a flat top grill. We’ll definitely return with our grandson to satisfy his addiction to California rolls! Ha!
In my life i have went too many places and I have never felt the need to right a review until now. The only reason I gave it a 1 star is because there was no option for half a star because the only good thing was the service, everything else was watered down literally I ordered a coke and it was sparkling water with a dash of coke. The food was the most bland food I have ever eaten in my life. P.s. I made this review in hopes that no one else will ever get swindled like I did. Book a table now
Would rate less if possible. Went there one night when it was not busy. Have to pay before even seeing the food. The food was awful. Everything looked old and sitting for a while. When we expressed we wanted a refund they said no and would remake anything we wanted. We didn 't want to wait for everything to be remade at a buffet. Never going back here again. Never receive a refund
First started coming here when my wife and I moved in the neighborhood back in October 2021. I cannot recommend anyone to go here and eat. However, we stopped going here as the food was constantly lukewarm and sometimes cold. On top of this the selection was of low quantity. We started going to Flaming Grill on Route 23 which is further away, but we’ll worth the trip.
The food was great but one staff member ruined my mood and my family’s experience. Staff worker in the middle of us eating muttered “too much hour” under her indicating that we were staying too long (mind you we were in there for only about an hour). Please fire her. Will never come back. If you are looking for a good buffet go to FLAMING GRILL on ROUTE 17.
I've been going to the fortune buffet since 2010 All I've done is improve the place remodeled it as the same owners as always good family owned business always a smile always clean excellent variety plenty of seating Book a table now
I'm thrilled to have discovered this restaurant! The service is outstanding, and the food is absolutely delicious. The cleanliness is impressive as well. I would rate it a perfect 10/10!
