We called in our order from St. Vincent's for our Treat Yo Self Friday lunch group. We came right on the Homewood to pick up our lunch. We had four meals, all were ready and correct. My order was a Mamma's Love Wrap, what can I say? Everything about this wrap was great, ingredients had great taste, wrap was nicely toasted. The nachos were good with the slight bite of pepper jack cheese I think. Next time I'll get with the jalapenos. Yes, I will come back.
The food is tasty, but there's a noticeable tension in the attitudes of the staff behind the counter. I've dined there multiple times and have never had any issues, yet the employees always seem resentful. They come across as quite unfriendly. In my opinion, the owner or manager should consider hiring new staff who can at least feign appreciation for the customers. There are too many other dining options nearby to keep supporting this place.
The food here is good- high quality. However, the sandwich is relatively small. Don’t get me wrong, it matches the price of $6. I wish there was an option for a bigger sub. I’d pay $10 for an extra large. Next time I’ll order 2 sandwiches. Potato salad is also very good.
Love the food and service! The plastic reusable cups they give out are great for using around the house and when you're out in the yard. Love going here whenever I'm by one. It's too bad they closed the one in Alabaster, we use to go all the time. Book a table now
I ordered a sandwich and nachos at this restaurant. The sandwich was delicious, but it was the nachos that stood out. They were made with pepperjack cheese melted on Doritos chips. What's not to love about that?
I absolutely adored the chicken salad sandwich, Momma's Love sandwich, and the chicken tortilla soup at this restaurant! They were delicious and I enjoyed them immensely!
I haven't visited in two years, but when I returned, it was just as fantastic as I remembered. The staff may have changed, but the food still delivers on all fronts.
